Experience authentic Lapland with a visit to a local reindeer herder family. Meet and feed reindeer at their fence, then enjoy warm hospitality at their home with coffee, tea, and homemade berry cake. Explore their modern home and learn about the Sámi culture and way of life.
Sautéed reindeer & mashed potatoes
Your day begins at our reindeer fence, where you'll feed the reindeer and learn about their care. Then, we'll head to our home to prepare a meal with reindeer meat or Lake Inari fish, accompanied by local side dishes and dessert, offering a taste of the region's food culture.
